Flies

I wrote about this over at my other blog, but am I the only one who believes that we have more flies this summer? It seems to me that there has been a significant increase in the fly population in our neck of the woods and I blame the new rubbish collection regime. Household waste is now lying around for weeks on end whereas it used to be collected on a weekly basis.

How long before rats and other vermin start showing up?
