Flies

I wrote about this over at my other blog, but am I the only one who believes that we have more flies this summer? It seems to me that there has been a significant increase in the fly population in our neck of the woods and I blame the new rubbish collection regime. Household waste is now lying around for weeks on end whereas it used to be collected on a weekly basis.

How long before rats and other vermin start showing up?

Will we be disappointed? Will today's momentus event not actually satisfy. Only a few hours to go, but by day's end the last stretch of the M50 will be open. It's just so exciting.

Blog death

I just seem to have run out of gas with this blog. I think the best option would be some form of local multi-person effort. If anyone else is interested, I'd be happy to help get such a thing going.
